The key role played by the satellites in modern science was emphasized at the World Space Week celebrations, which took place on Monday in the auditorium of Zilla Panchayat in Chamarajanagar.
Speaking at the inauguration of a workshop and Science Exhibition That Was Organized to Mark the World Space Week, Deputy Director of Ur Rao Satellite of Indian Space Research Organization (ISRA) Ramanagouda Communication Services, But Were Also Used for Crop Surveys, Disaster Management, Border Surveillance, Assesing the Impact of Natural Calamities and Estimating Water and Forest Resources on Earth.

Dr. Nadagouda said that the UR Rao satellite center in Bengalur is one of the key ISRO units responsible for the production of a large number of satellites.
Dr. Nadagouda pointed out that ISRO was one of the five leading space agencies in the world, remembered the basis for science and space research laid by Vikram Sarabhai. “If one is planning carefully and patiently, success is inevitable. Students should not miss opportunities,” he said, and at the same time advised them to learn deeply about the subjects they were enthusiastic, built a good friendship and engage in collective thinking to brighten their future.
He also remembered the immense contribution of Indian cosmic scientist UR Rao to the Indian Space Program.
CEO Chamarajanagar Zilla Panchayat Mona Roat called on students to be curious about various subjects and also understand both the advantages and disadvantages of scientific progress.
Mrs. Roat pointed out that the girls in the Chamarajanagar district were well performed in education, but regretted that the number of girls who are devoted to university education is falling. She said women had equal opportunities like men to excel in selected fields.
Police Superintendent BT Kavitha said that science and life are closely interconnected and science has determined the quality of life.
