Polpa police closed in the Pampa restaurant after 10 devotees were hospitalized after eating from the facility with symptoms of food poisoning.
According to the officials, the restaurant Coffee Land Restauant was sealed at the Pampa Duty Municipality. The hotel is owned by Omanakuttan, resident of Sooranado, Kollam.
Disabilities have consumed food from the restaurant in the last two days and later subjected to medical treatment in Sannidhanam. The judge made an inspection of the premises on Saturday. In addition to verifying documents, food safety officials collected samples for laboratory analysis.
After the inspection, the restaurant was ordered to suspend its operation with immediate effect. A case for a license holder was registered a case for contaminated food, which represents a threat to public health.
