
He swapped Nagesh Mali, a 28 -year -old engineer working in Infosys, was arrested in Bengalur for secretly shooting women in the toilet. His actions were exposed when he recorded suspicious activities on Monday. According to The Times of India (TOI), he allegedly confessed to his crime and said he had noticed another company employee.
The defendant allegedly mentioned that he felt a sense of “satisfaction” while watching these videos and downloaded over 50 such clips on his phone, the report said.
How did the incident develop?
The woman who reported the incident in the first information report (companies) said she saw Nagesh filmed her from another cab while using the toilet, panicked and triggered an alarm. Other employees threw themselves. His phone was confiscated and contained several videos that HR later deleted in the female presence, NDTV reported.
The defendant recorded more than 30 videos of different women inside the office toilet, present on his mobile phone, according to internal investigation. This caused another outrage, especially after the woman’s husband learned about the incident and proceeded to lead.
The woman also filed a formal complaint with an electronic urban police station. After her complaint, he was arrested on the basis of her statement and gathered evidence. Now they face serious accusations, including invasion of privacy and sexual harassment.
Infosys clarifies
Infosys issues an official statement confirming that the employee has been terminated.
“We are aware of this incident and have taken the necessary measures against an employee who is now separated from the company,” Infosys said.
“We also immediately supported the complainants by facilitating a rapid complaint with law enforcement authorities and continuing to cooperate because they are investigating. Infosys is determined to provide the environment without harassment and has zero tolerance policy.
