The declaration of Tamil Nadu State Board examination results for Class 12 has been postponed, officials from the Education Department said on Wednesday (May 6, 2026).
The results were earlier to be declared on May 8. Officials from the Directorate of Government Examinations said that the results are currently being processed and the new date will be announced later.
Sources in the ministry noted that the announcement of the results was pushed as the new government in the state was yet to be formed. As many as 8,16,289 students wrote the Class 12 exams which started on March 2 and ended on March 26.
