The Minister of Tourism and Culture Kandula Durgesh promised to build Gurajad Memorial Build Mr. Apparao’s big grandson of Gurajad Venkateswara Prasad and his wife G. Indira informed
Mr. Prasad informed that the minister responded positively to the pending design and proper use of land for cultural and traditional activities.
He said: “We recently met the Minister in Vijayawada and explained the history and conversion of the poet’s house as a museum. Many writers, poets and members of various organizations seek to organize meetings in the premises of Gurajad.
He added that many miscreants are jumping the wall and moving to the museum. “The government should take the necessary steps to protect the house and the surrounding place,” said Mr. Prasad.
Meanwhile, the BR Ambedkar collector ordered the tourism department to see the museum and present a report on the incidents of miscreantists entering and harmful books and furniture in the museum.
