On Saturday, the public library became functional in the building of the old police station in Tiryan, once in the district of Kumram Bhe Bhe Bhe Bhe Asifabad. This meant opening the gate for the bright future for local youth in the mostly tribal district.
The old building of the police station was transformed into a public library under the supervision of Asifabad Asp S. Chitharanjan according to the instructions of the superintendent of the Police DV Srinivas Rao.
The old structure was reconstructed, painted, furnished and equipped with drinking water and other facilities, the police said.
The aim of this initiative is to promote reading culture among youth and provide access to books and other reading materials to expand the boundaries of knowledge.
The library was supplied with approximately 200 books, including materials for competitive examinations, development of personality, moral education, motivational books and patriotic literature.
On Saturday, Chitharanjan addressed a meeting in the Tiryan Library on Saturday: “We are trying to lead youth to a better future through this library.”
He described the library as a box office of knowledge and encouraged tribal youth to optimize the facility to enforce higher education and increase their job opportunities.
The inspector Rebbena Circle Budde Swamy, the Sub-Invcessor Tiryani Sreekanth, members of various tribal organizations and youth associations and students were present.
