
The continuing intervention against the disposal of public waste in Kottayam has brought 36.91 ₹ in the last year in the last year.
According to official estimates, the drive led to the collection of 8.93 GBP Lakh in fines during the first three months of this year. During this period, two coercive units in the district of 427 inspections were carried out.
Within the free campaign, a total of 5 375.44 tonnes of waste were removed from the district from the district. This includes 1,049,77 tons of recyclable materials, 3,623,42 tons of non -recyclable waste, 31.57 tonnes of electronic waste, 625,72 tonnes of glass waste and 44.94 tonnes of scrap.
816 public containers and 700 bottles were installed to streamline waste collection. The district currently operates 464 units for the processing of organic waste. Kottayam also has 16 resources renewal devices (RRFS), 95 material collection devices (MCF) and 1,597 mini MCF. Up to 2,403 members of Harith Karma hay were involved in the collection and segregation of waste.
The authorities are designed to declare the Kottayam district on Monday without waste. Minister for Cooperation, Ports and Devaswom, VN Vasavan, will make a formal statement in a public position scheduled for 17:00 in Thirunakkara.
District President Panchayat Hemalath premsagar will open an exhibition representing initiatives without waste and painting competition, starting 10:30 on the day.
