
Girls’ students said they published suffering after they had not been relieved from school authorities. They did not inform their parents and feared that their education would be interrupted.
Police of the Coimbatore district (rural), the Department of School Education and the District Unity for the Protection of Children (DCPU) started the investigation after three girls settled accusations of sexual harassment against two government school teachers near Coimbatore.
Girls who claimed to be school students have made charges in two videos that were spreading on the platforms of sending messages on Friday.
Girls, with their faces masked, accused two men teachers to touch the students of the girls inappropriately and look at them with the wrong intention.
They claimed that the music teacher touched them inappropriately when they practiced dance. The botany teacher was accused of the fact that the girls had inappropriately touched the pretext, that they were patting them as a gesture of encouragement. The girls accused another man of a man of coming to school under the influence of alcohol.
Parents are not informed
Students said they published their suffering in public because the school authorities did not give any relief. They said they did not inform their parents and feared that their education would be interrupted.
In a separate sound note, allegedly sent journalists, a girl who claims to be a student of the X -Same School, claimed that her senior warned her of such behavior by two men teachers. The girl added that she decided to speak because she did not want her sibling to study at the same school, underwent a similar suffering.
No formal complaint
Police superintendent K. Karthikeyan said the accusation was examined, although no formal complaint was received. “The police team, consisting of another superintendent police (crime against women and children), a representative of the police director and two women’s inspectors, carried out a survey at school. The team spoke to 50% of girls and recorded their statements because there is another investigation on Thursday evening.
The Chief Educational Director of R. Balamurali said that the district educational official was asked to investigate. He added that the ministry did not receive any formal complaint against teachers.
“Counseling is carried out for all school students and after completion of the required procedures would take further steps,” DCPU official said.
The police source said that a woman who recorded one of the videos and asked questions to girls from behind the camera was asked to appear on Saturday.
