The priest of the Archdiocese Ernaculam-English of the Church Syro Malabar, who served as the vicar of the church in Kadamacuda, presented his resignation letter as the vicar of Archbishop Joseph Pamplany, the administrator of the Archdiocese.
Priest Fr. Augustine Vattoly, who served as the vicar of the Church of Sts. Augustine, Kadamakuda, said in his letter that he had never led a “unified mass” as defending the Synod in the parish, and is not willing to offer it at all times.
In his letter, he attributes an immediate reason for his resignation as a vicar of the parish of one family from the parish and is looking for an offer of united Mass.
“I will present a letter striving for the withdrawal of my resignation letter, the day when the method of mass where the priest faces the congregation (instead of the united mass) is declared a liturgical variant in the Archdiocese.
