Sniffer dogs successfully detected a bomb in the bushes along the seed road in the Amaravati Capital region on Thursday during a false operation performed by the bomb detection.
Police Guntur, together with the district security wing (DSW), organized a false operation on the road leading to the Secretariat, the Supreme Court and other Amaravati authorities.
A team led by another superintendent of the police (asp-AR) A. Hanumanth, the Thullurian representative of the police Murali Krishny and DSW Ri Sutesh Kumar watched the drill.
“We checked bushes, road dividers, culverts and shrubs on the road in the operation,” said Mr. Murali Krishna.
“The police checked the main roads leading to the main capital during operations with metal detectors, cut off dogs and rope parties. The bomb located in the bushes was detected by a sniffing dog,” said Mr. Hanumantha.
The instructions were provided to the police to be on the readiness continuously, because there are many VIPs on the seed access road, DSW officers said.
Thullur or K. Srinivas, a traffic circle inspector (CI) Koteswara Rao, a special branch of CI Sri Hari and other officers participated in the operation.
