American Defense Minister Pete HegSeth ordered on Sunday that 200 Oregon National Guard soldiers be deployed under the Federal Office, while the state filed a lawsuit that challenged President Donald Trump’s step to send military forces to the democratic city city of Portland.
On Saturday, the Republican President announced plans for sending soldiers to Portland and stated that they would be used to protect federal immigration facilities from “domestic terrorists” and that it entitled them to use “full force if necessary”.
