Before the World Photography Day 19 August (Tuesday), K. Surya Prakasa Rao, Director of Zilla Parisad High School in the village of Mogilicherl in Linga Samudram mandala in the district of SPSR Nellore, Monday on Monday.
A 60 -year -old man received the prize for his photographs depicted during an exhibition at the National level organized by the State Commission for Creativity and Culture Andhra Pradesh in cooperation with India International Photography (IIPC) and Indian photographic academy of India (PAI).
In the last few years, Mr. Prakasa Rao has embarked on a photo with a fine art, but in the last few years he still wrapped 68 gold medals and 130 recognition. He won his first gold medal from Youth Photography Society in Bengalur for a photo of the tribal dance Koya.
“Although the photograph has been passion for my childhood, my photographs were limited to my friends and family members during school trips and tours. However, this gold medal in December 2023 inspired me to participate in several other photo competitions,” Prakasha Rao said.
“With the encouragement of my friends, I took part in photographic competitions around the world and I won at least one prize in every competition,” said Mr. Prakasha Rao, adding that he has achieved more than 10 awards in a month.
His achievements include “Excellency in the Federation of Indian Photography (EFIP)” from the Federation of Indian Photography (FIP) and recognition from the International Federation of Photographic Arts (FIAP), Kuman Photo Salon from North Macedonia and Nicosia FORHOTIC Society.
He was also a member of the jury for two events of the photographic company America (PSA). Meanwhile, Mr. Prakasha Rao strives to achieve a “collaborator of the royal photographic society (ARPS) from the Royal Photographic Society (RPS).
His passion for photography never burdened his original profession. In 2018 he received the district main prize (Prakasam) and in 2022 in 2022.
