Keral has set up a seven -member committee, which deals with the requirements for revision of the salary and performing patterns of employees for employees of the Thrissur Corporation.
The decision was taken at a high -level meeting, chaired by Minister of MB Rajesh on Tuesday. This step comes against the background of the local government department on September 12, 2025, which reduced sanctions in the company’s electricity department from 229 to 103.
The newly created committee will include representatives of both employees and government and are tasked with submitting its report to the State Government by October 31.
Mayor of MK Varghes said that the step was aimed at ending the demand that has been waiting since 2013.
