The Palakkad-Ernakulam MEMU service has been upgraded with 12-car rakes

The MEMU service between Palakkad and Ernakulam has been upgraded from an eight-coach to a 12-coach, providing more comfortable travel for daily commuters and other passengers, Southern Railway informed.

Train No. 66609 Palakkad–Ernakulam Junction MEMU and Train No. 66610 Ernakulam Junction–Palakkad MEMU started running 12-car sweeper from May 24.
