The owner of Wall Street Journal, Dow Jones, said on Friday that he would “vigorously defend” against a slander law filed by US President Donald Trump.
The suit challenges a recent article that linked the President to the convicted sexual delinrator Jeffrey Epstein, as AFP states.
“We have full confidence in the strictness and accuracy of our reports and we will strongly defend ourselves against any court,” said Dow Jones spokesman in an extract after Trump filed a lawsuit with at least $ 10 billion from the company, Wall Street Journal and Media Magnate Rupert Murdoch.
On Thursday, The Wall Street Journal published a story describing a sexually suggestive letter reporting that Trump was named and included in the 2003 album to the 50th birthday of Epstein, as stated by AP.

Trump denied writing a letter and called him “false, harmful and slander”.
Formerly on Friday, Trump filed a lawsuit at the Federal Court in Miami against the Media Magnat Rupert Murdoch and Wall Street Journal. The suit challenges the coverage of the newspaper about the alleged connection of Trump with the dishonored financier Jeffrey Epstein and requires at least $ 10 billion to hurt.
On Friday, Trump published the truth on his social website: “This court is filed not only on behalf of your favorite president, I, but also to continue their position for all Americans who will no longer tolerate the offensive offenses of false intelligence media.”
Trump said he broke up with Epstein before a financier’s legal difficulty became in 2006.
