On Wednesday, two other people with amoebic meningoencephalitis in Kerala were diagnosed. One of them is a 30 -year -old woman from Ramanattukar in Kozhikod and another is a ten -year -old child from the Malappuram district. The woman undergoes treatment in a private hospital in Kozhikode, while a child at the Institute of Maternity and Children’s Wings of Health of the Government Faculty of Medicine in Kozhikode. Their condition is mentioned as stable. As a result, the total number of infected persons undergoing treatment in Kozhikode reached 11.
