The leader of the opposition in the legislative assembly of R. Ashok visited the rain areas of Sakaleshpur in the Hassan district and stated that the state government was not ready to cope with rain confusion during the monsoon.
Mr. Ashok visited Anemahal, Doddatapal and other areas in Sakaleshpur, where landslides occurred, preventing the vehicle movement on the busy section of Shiradi Ghat on the National Highway 75.

Mr. Ashok spoke to press persons and said the early monsoon had caused confusion in many places. The state government did not perform any preparations to face the situation. CM should arrange an appointment to review the readiness in advance, he said.
Earlier, during the BJP rule, Mr. Ashok said that the government gave up 5 lacquers of £ 5 as a compensation in the event of damage to the house due to heavy rains. “But now the government will not pay affected people compensation. The government is busy by organizing conventions.

The BJP leader also stated that the government did not publish instructions on compensation for people affected by rain. During the BJP rule, the government gave the affected families sufficient for one month. “The government should take the necessary measures to relieve people affected by rain. I write to cm in this matter,” he added.
Mr. Ashok was accompanied by Sakaleshpur Mla Cement Manju, former Minister of HK Kumaraswama and officers of the Hassan District Administration.
