AHMEDABAD: Twin Cities of Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar revealed its ambitious plan to host the Summer Olympic Games 2036, while the final plan estimates the costs between R 34 700 CR and RS 64 000 KR.
Entitled “Audit Meeting-Primited Memorials at AMDAVAD 2036”, the document was introduced this week in Gandhinagar during the brainstorming session of the high-level coordination committee for the Olympic offer.

The final plan, which is accessible to TOI, reveals the estimated costs associated with bringing a sporting spectacle to the twins of Gujarat and four other cities – namely Bopal, Goa, Mumbai and Pune – places potential expenditure in the context of previous Olympic editions.
The maximum estimated OCOG budget for Ahmedabad exceeds the budget in Paris 2024, indicating the range of ambitions. However, the review notes that “good potential to optimize the budget for costs” for games in Ahmedabad.
