
The Olympic Council of Asia and Ainagoc are preparing for two main meetings in Japan Nagoya and focusing on the 20th Asian Games scheduled for 2026.
The meetings include 1 meeting of technical delegates and meetings of the OCA Coordination Committee, which will combine more than 350 participants to discuss preparations for games that will contain 41 sports and 15,000 athletes and officials from 45 National Olympic committees.
Cricket and mixed martial arts were formally approved for the 41. MMA debuts with Asian games with six combat sports events next to Kurash and Jujitsu.

The cricket venue will be placed in Aichi Prefecture, with the T20 format for a special interest due to its upcoming integration into the Los Angeles Olympics.
South Asian teams dominated cricket in previous Asian games. In 2010, Bangladesh received men’s gold in 2014 in Sri Lanka and India in 2022, when he built several T20 stars, including Ruturaj Gaikwad and Yashsvi Jaiswal. Afghanistan won silver medals in all three editions. India also won gold in the women’s cricket in 2022, while Pakistan reached the pad of women in 2010 and 2014.

Both groups of meetings will be attended by a joint welcome reception with Ainagoc in the evening of May 1.
The Asian Games 2026 will take place in Aichi-Nagoya from 19 to 4 October, which will connect participants from the 45 National Olympic Committees of the OCA.
