
Planned caste and planned tribes (SC/ST) lecturers of government university university took over an exception from the Ministry of School Education (before the University), which completed general promotions for the headquarters of the headmasters on May 15, 2025 without promoting for 80 pending jobs that were between 2016 and 2022.

Complaint
Based on the complaint of the Government Association before the University College SC/ST Lectures Association, the Committee on the Welfare of Planned Cast and the Planned Tribes of the Karnatak Legislative Assembly, the Commissioners of the Ministry of Social Security and the Ministry of Personnel and Administrative Reforms ordered investigations and submitted.
The report stated that from 2016 to 2022, in the award of promotional events, a total of 80 main functions were not provided with SC/ST. In his report, the Commissioner proposed in his report on March 26, 2025 that it should be corrected.
Propagation process
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Education (before the University) launched a general promotion process for posts lectures in the PU College for 2025.
Based on the instructions of the collected Committee, the common secretary of the Secretariat of the Legislative Assembly, he wrote to the main secretary, school education and literacy and stated that the process of general promotion for 2025 should not be performed until they are promoted for 80 uncorded main functions. However, the Ministry, on May 15, carried out advice and raised a total of 242 lecturers as directors.

The answers to the Ministry of School Education (before the universities) insisted that there was no pendant according to the prevailing rules and there was no violation.
“A total of 659 functions of principal are unoccupied in government universities in the state, it is difficult to perform academic and administrative duties. In this context, the positions of the principal were fulfilled by the approval of the main minister,” the ministry official explained.
