SHUBHAM DWIVEDI, 30 years, Kanpur resident, who married 12 February of this year, was among those who shot terrorists in Pahalgam on Tuesday (23rd April 2025). His family members in Kanpur remembered the heartbreaking moment they had when Shaubham’s wife called them to inform about the tragedy. The deceased was in the Baisaran valley and released food with his wife and sister -in -law when the terrorists started fire and hit him in the head.

“I called around 3:00 pm to ask because the family was on tour. The family members said there was a terrorist attack and SHUBHAM was hit by a bullet. They could not say anything else. Thirty minutes later my sister -in -law and reported that Shaubham was dead.
The deceased, SHUBHAM DWIVEDI, married Aishanya, the daughter of Rajesh Pandey of Yashoda Nagar, in Kanpuru 12 February this year. Eleven of their family went on April 17th for a holiday in Jammu and Kashmir and it was planned to return 23 April. Father Shaubham, Sanjay Dwivedi, 52, a cement trader in Kanpur, was also in the group with his wife Seema, daughter Aishanya, 27 years, daughter Aarti, 27 and six others. All other family members are reportedly safe.
The main minister UTTAR Pradesh Yogi Adityanath spoke to the father of the deceased expressing condolences and promised a state with a family with a full commitment. “The death of SHUBHAM DWIVEDIJI in the Kanpur district in a cowardly terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, is extremely sad. Today I spoke to my father Mr. Sanjay Dwivedi over the phone and express my condolences. To carry this immense sadness, ”Cm said.
