
For the comfort of passengers, a new railway terminal near the International Airport KEVEGOWDA, Bengaluru will be set up, said V. Somanna, State Minister of Railways.

On Friday he spoke at a press conference here and said that the reconnaissance work had already been completed to implement the Circular Railway project to connect the edge of the city of Bengalur. As part of the project, it was decided to establish railway terminals in four places. One of these terminals will be set up near the International KEVEGOWDA Airport, he said.
He said that rail projects need to be implemented in the light of the rapidly expanding population of Bengalur.
“After I became the Minister of Railway, I emphasized the completion of the old railway projects that were stopped. Karnataka Minister of Great and Middle Industry, MB Patil, cooperates to implement a suburban railroad project. Previously the Union government, which was only 833 crore to Karnataka, will be introduced and assigned. Alothaled as Anu will be completed in two to three years.

The answer to the question of whether steps to restore concessions in the prices of railway tickets to seniors, persons with disabilities and others as before the Covid-19 pandemic, Mr. Somanna said that the Ministry had been submitted. During the Covid-19 pandemic, however, the Union government reduced all types of railway ticket prices by 46%, and therefore concessions provided by special class were reduced. He said he would discuss this problem with the Prime Minister to restore these concessions as a result of public demand.
