The incident took place in the district of Bankura during the Duarey Sarkar camp, the program of the West Bengal Government. Sricants Kumar Dutta, a qualified teacher, spent weeks attempting to correct the error through official channels. Repeated visits, paperwork and challenges did not go anywhere.
