Telugu Desam Party (TDP) MLA Bonel Vijayachandra sets the basis for the construction of a hostel of girls in Parvatipuram on Friday.
The NDA Government led by the Chandrababa Naid is taking significant steps to address the high level of premature completion of the studies between girls in backward and tribal areas. To solve this problem, the government assigned 5 GBP Crore to build a new girl’s hostel at the Sri Venkatesware College school in Parvatipuram. The aim of the Hostel, funded by the Pradhan Mantri Uchhatar Shiksha Abhiyan (PM-USA) program, is to ensure quality education within the new educational policy-2020 and provides girls safe and supportive environment.
The foundation stone for the new hostel was laid on Friday by Bonel Vijaychandra Telugu Desam Party (TDP). In an interview with the media, Mr. Vijaychandra criticized the previous YSRCP government for neglecting the education of girls by not notinging reserved hostels. He said, “A new hostel will allow girls to focus on their studies and complete their education.”
He called on Chalapathi Rao the headmaster to supervise construction work every week and ensure that suppliers follow the time of timely completion.
The event was attended by former city vice -chairman Belagan Jayaprakash together with other public representatives.
