Photographs of US President Donald Trump, with great bruise on his right hand, became a viral and contributed to growing speculation about his health. The dark, black -and -white patch was visible on Monday, August 25 during the Trump’s Oval Office meeting with South Korean President Lee Jae Myung. Similar images of bruises – sometimes hidden with heavy make -up – have appeared several times in recent months.
A pattern of recurring marks
In February, photographs showed Trump’s right hand visibly bruised during his meeting of the White House with French President Emmanuel Macron. In July, his hand reappeared the covered make -up during interviews in Scotland with the president of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen. Repeated performances have kept the item alive online and users ask if the brands point to more serious condition.
Explanation of the White House
Last month, the White House released a note by doctor Trump Sean Barbabelly and diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency (CVI) – “benign and common” state. The report linked bruises with “minor irritation of soft tissues from frequent handshakes” and the president’s use of aspirin, part of the standard cardiovascular prevention regime. Officials stressed that there were “no evidence” about heart failure, kidney disease, arterial blocking or deep venous thrombosis.
Reaction of social media to a bruised hand trump
Despite the assurance, speculation is differentiated. Some users compared bruises with IV stamps, while others attracted parallels with signs of heart failure. One viral comment said, “Strange how bruising on Trump’s hands takes longer to recover than the ear that was hit by a bullet.” Another wrote: “Trump desperately tried to keep his hand covered at a press conference. There is something seriously bad and the media should require answers.”
One user joked that Trump’s bruise “takes longer than the ear that was hit by a bullet”.
Another questioned the explanation of the White House “Issue of soft tissues from Handshakes”, claims that the problem was less about bruises and more about the “deficit of trust”.
Another commentator noted that Trump was “seen a new bruise on the other side,” he pointed to the irony that he had “bruises on both hands”, but “spark”.
Some have suggested signaling a deeper health problem with one writing: “This bruising has been on hand for months, combined with severely swollen ankles, suggests a very serious condition.”
Others were sincerely critical and one remarked: “Trump is not healthy … Maybe even this term will not finish. Cankles, bruises at hand and obese.”
Another viewer speculated that the brands resembled IV insertion and wrote, “It’s not a golf injury, it’s strangely shaped and the skin seems to be broken.”
Some insisted that bruises coincide with “patients who got the sticks”, blame officials of covering because “he was so hard to hide obvious and failed”.
One reaction honestly asked, “What are they hiding?” And he criticized Trump for trying to “keep his hand covered” and “hide his ankles” during the appearance of an oval office.
However, not all answers assumed the worst. The user suggested that the grades could simply be “IV brand, thinner bruising blood or just hitting his hand,” he added that he raises the questions “how to be transparent public data about their health”.
Finally, another commentator ridiculed the official explanation and wrote, “They want us to believe that Trump has bruises on both hands from Handshaking, but his ear healed so perfectly after being shot that there was no sign within a few weeks.”
Others, however, noted that bruises could stem from something as simple as the hint of the hand, the use of blood thinners or IV treatment. Yet the persistence of stamps-in combination with the news of the swollen ankles Trump-ankles raised questions about transparency over the health of the 79-year-old President, the oldest person who has ever launched the US presidential period.
