Shivaram said that at the core of the survey it provides justice for all communities and added that the government had prepared a report to ensure social justice even to the most marginalized part of each community. ” But only a few people of the upper caste neglect it for political reasons, ” said Mr. Shivaram.
Senior Congress lawmaker Shamanur ShivashankaAppa, who is also president of Akhil Bharat Veerashaiva-Landayat Mahasabha, got under the flake for his attitude against caste survey and his reported statement that if he was made, this can lead to resistance.
” Let Mr. ShivashankaAppa win the elections only about the voices of the Lingayat community if he was convinced of the numbers, ” Mr. Shivaram attacked.
“History of Studio”
“Those who claim that their community claims injustice should study the history of this state and find out the number of main ministers, ministers and other political representatives who have emerged from their communities. They should compare it with how much political representation they have received backward classes,” said Mr. Shivaram.
Mr. Shivaram claimed that most of the state’s population included backward classes, and therefore they were looking for a higher political representation for them, it was not incorrect.
He said that the survey covers the socio-economic conditions of various communities and in the community of Vokkalig, Lingayat and Brahmin is also an economically weaker part of people and everyone deserved justice.
“Inherent intolerance”
Yogesh, President of the Association of District UPPAR, said that outrage against the report stems from the “inherent intolerance of the upper caste” towards the leader of the backward class, which for the second time became the main minister.
With reference to the message Mr. Yogesh said it was 95% based on facts and errors can be reviewed and corrected. In this context, he claimed that although there are almost 15 members of the UPPAR Lakh community up to 20 lakh, the report focuses on their 7.5 lakh population, and this should also be reviewed.
