The most awaited infrastructure project, the Mumbai-Pune Missing Link, cutting travel time by half an hour, is slated to be inaugurated on May 1, which is observed as Maharashtra Day.
The distance will also be reduced to 13.3 km after the construction of a new missing link between Mumbai and Pune on the Yashwantrao Chavan Mumbai-Pune Expressway. According to Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC) officials, the road will bring relief to commuters from congestion at Khadala Ghat.
