Congress accused the government of Madhya Pradesh led by BJP of ridicule of unemployed youth on Saturday (March 29, 2025), the day after the main Minister Mohan Yadav addressed them as “Akankshi Yuva (aspiration youth)”.
“The government has made a joke of unemployed a change in their names !!! Educated youth, which has qualifications but does not have a job, are” unemployed “! said the leader of the opposition Umang Singhar, VX Post.
According to Rojgar (employment), in Madhya Pradesh is 29,38 010 unemployed youth in Madhya Pradesh. Her websites referred them to them as “Akankshi Yuva” while announcing the updated data about the ummemhesment.
“The government cannot employ everything”
This comes after the main Minister Mohan Yadav announced a change in nomenclature during discussion with the news canal and also said that government jobs cannot satisfy all youth.
“Unemployment cannot only be removed through government jobs. In a country like India, with a 145 crore, there is no share of government jobs more than 1%. From now on, the unemployed youth in the state will be referred to as “aspiration youth (Akankshi Yuva),” he added.
‘Misleading youth’
Mr Singhar, however, accused the government of playing with the lives of unemployed people to hide their own failure.
“Someone asks the government Muhan, what do you want to prove by calling the unemployed” Akankshi Yuva “? Sub-inspectors and Subedar have not been accepted in the last eight years;
Mr. Singhar, who asked the Chief Minister not to “not mention” his youth, said, “History witnesses that the youth caused every major change!”
Government defense
When he was contacted, a higher official in the office of the main minister (CMO) claimed that the opposition “is missing”.
“We will not issue any clarification.
The State Minister for the Development of Skills and Employment Gautam Tetwal also used the disputed period during the recently closed budget meeting of the State Assembly.
“The portal of Rojgar MEP does not hold information about the registered unemployed, but is maintained information about aspiration youth,” Mr. Tetwal said in a written answer to the question of the MLA Pratap Grewal.
