
Shameema Akhtar, Mother, Mudasir Ahmad Sheikh, who died in May 2022 to fight terrorists, will not be deported to Pakistan, the police explained.

In carefully formulated clarification, brother -in -law Mohammad Youenus Shameema said that Mudasira’s mother had returned home because she was not taken to deport. “We are grateful to the Indian government,” Youounus said.
Previously, Mudasir’s uncle told reporters that his sister -in -law belonged to Kashmir occupied Pakistan and as such should not be deported.
“My sister -in -law comes from Kashmir, Pakistan, which is our territory. Only Pakistani should be deported,” Youounus said.
After Mudasir’s death, the Minister of the Interior of the Union, AMIT Shah, visited the family, just like the Governor of Lieutenant said twice.

Shameema married Mohammad Maqsood, now retired police officer, before the eruption of militance in Jammu and Kashmir in 1990. Shameema, accompanied by her husband, received Shaurya chakra from President Murm in Delhi 2023.
The main square of Baramulla City Square was named Shaheed Mudasir Chowk in memory of the police.
