
Chamarajanagar Mla C. Puttarangashetty said on Friday that NGOs should extend cooperation and support in the revival and upgrading of government schools.
He said that the government took over the initiative to upgrade schools, and this should be supported by NGOs, and this should be supported by NGOs.
The school was adopted and supported by Basava Rajendra Medical Trust.

The official stated that the enrollment was 62 in 2021–22, which increased to 119 in 2022–23 and 210 in 2023–24. In the current academic year 2025–26, 320 children were registered, he said.
The school, which previously had classes from 1 to 8, will now be expanded from LKG to 9. Standard. In the next academic year he will have class 10, said Mr. Urs. Basava Rajendra Medical Trust has provided eight classrooms, school vehicles, drilling, furniture, books, uniforms and computers. The school will be developed into a model school, he said.
M. Basavarajendra, CEO of Trust, said the gift itself would not be enough to modernize schools and the need for an hour was to use it.
He said it was important to learn English together with Kannada.
“In today’s world, it is necessary to teach other languages together with the mother tongue for professional life. Therefore, English in government schools should be provided,” said Mr. Basavarajendra.
