On Tuesday (July 29, 2025), the MLA Congress organized a protest in the premises of the legislative assembly during the ongoing monsoon meeting by playing flutes in front of symbolic buffaloes, while accusing Madhya Pradesh’s government over various public importance issues.
Congress of the MLA, led by the leader of the opposition Umang Singhar, enacted the popular Hinda proverb “Bhains Keage was Bajana (playing flute in front of the buffalo)”, which means nothing to tell someone who will not do anything about it.
When he talked to reporters, Mr. Singhar accused the government of Bharatiya Janata (BJP) of being “completely insensitive” to public issues such as unemployment, farmers’ emergency and 27 % reserve for other back grades (OVC).
“The government as inactive as a buffalo! The government has now become completely insensitive. Just as the buffalo does not listen or respond to it when a flute is played before it, similarly, this BJP government is silent about serious and public interest issues,” Congress said, ” Buffaloes.
“People are struggling with inflation, the government does not want to give youth work, does not tell when the state gets investments, farmers do not receive fertilizers. We played these questions of flute (sought answers), but the government refuses them and sits with closed eyes. ”
As part of a strategy designed during the recently held two -day training camp for party MLA, the lawmakers of Congress in the Assembly demonstrate in a unique way. Previously, on Monday, the MLA chameleons showed toys and accused the government of “changing colors or her attitude” in questions.
Meanwhile, the speaker of the Narendra Singh Tomar Assembly ordered the ministers to give direct answers to the questions asked in the house instead of saying that the information is collected.
Mr. Tomar’s instructions came after the Bal Bachchan Congress complained that at least 16 questions about the departments concerning the main Minister Mohan Yadav, received similar answers that the details were gathering.
He took the knowledge and Mr. Tomar said he also noticed the trend.
“The instructions were given on this matter before. The main minister is sitting here. A direct answer should come,” Mr. Tomar said.
