The Ministry of Labor announces a paid holiday for employees on November 1

The Labor Department has declared a paid holiday on November 1 (Sunday) for all employees and workers employed in shops and establishments in view of the elections to municipal corporations, municipalities and nagar panchayats, Eluru Joint Commissioner of Labor A. Ganeshan said on Saturday.

The holiday applies to all employees and workers covered by the AP Shops and Establishments Act, 1988, he said.
