The minister tells the cadres to maintain vigilance during the SIR process

BC Roads and Buildings Minister Janardhan Reddy on Tuesday (June 9, 2026) urged NDA coalition leaders to strictly ensure transparency in electoral rolls as well as enrollment of eligible youth as voters, correct errors in voter details and effectively conduct field-level voter verification.

Mr. Janardhan Reddy attended an information program regarding the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the Electoral Roll held at Banaganapalle town on Tuesday. He said that leaders and party workers in all constituencies must remain extremely vigilant during the SIR process.

The minister called on the cadres of the alliance parties to cooperate at the field level to ensure the transparency of the electoral roll. He also advised them to be vigilant about the conduct of the opposition on issues such as deletion of existing votes and registration of fake votes during the SIR process.

The minister ordered agents at the Booth level to thoroughly study the instruction manuals. The meeting was attended by committee members (parliamentary, constituency, mandal and village level), cluster, unit and booth committee representatives as well as leaders and workers from various affiliated wings of the NDA alliance parties.
