
Minister for Social Security Aluri Laxman Kumar on Monday expressed anger over alleged poor quality food delivered to students of the Research School in Telangana/Junior College for Girls in Chintakunta, Kothapally Mandal near Karimnagar.
Surprisingly, the Minister visited the residential school around noon on Monday and had lunch with students. He interact with students and received feedback from them.
When the students complained of poor quality of rice of gross diversity, which was given to them during the noon meal that was given to them, the Minister turned his anger to the staff in question for not giving students fine rice.
The Minister spoke to the district supplier officer (DSO) on the phone and issued instructions to immediately replace coarse rice fine rice.
The Minister expressed his anger over the officials of “apathy” against the students of the public school and issued higher authorities instructions to take the relevant steps against semi -stressed officials and to provide students with quality food.
He also ordered officials to improve the conditions of hygiene in the kitchen, install another water race of RO in mess, provide new steel dishes and placed a wall composed of a wall around the building.
