Medical Education Minister Sharan Prakash Patil on Friday warned of strict ministerial action against principals of government medical colleges and hospitals over repeated complaints of drug shortages, inadequate ICU capacity and poor hygiene.
The minister presiding over the review meeting referred to the observations of the Karnataka Lokayukta and public complaints on the availability of essential medicines in hospitals under the ministry.
