HYDERABAD
Irrigation and Civil Supplies Minister N. Uttam Kumar Reddy has directed officials to complete the restoration of minor irrigation tanks across the state in a time-bound manner as the work cannot wait any longer.
At a meeting of irrigation officials here on Saturday, he said that summer desilting of reservoirs is a national priority. He wanted officials to start work immediately from village-level tanks to larger systems — without waiting for new instructions.
