Minister for Forests, Ecology and Environment Eshwar B. Khandre expressed his anger over the permitted trees AX 40 on Hyder Ali Road.
On Sunday he interact with the forest department officials at the meeting of progress. The Minister stated that the authorization should only be granted in cases where all other options are closed.
Kanking of 40 giant trees led to public commotion because each of them was more than 40 years old and the locals said that the current transport density does not guarantee the verification of trees to extend the road.
Mr. Khandre said that the trees that have been high for years, and pose no danger, should not be felled and should be developed with all efforts to maintain them.
By the way, the official survey that examined this problem liberated the workers of the forest department and cleaned them from any unlawful conduct. The report came under criticism because it merely documented the sequence of events and whether the legal process of issuing permits fell trees, was followed or not.
The minister also ordered officials to capture the massive plantation of trees in Mysuru during the following Mahotsava bathtub.
