The organization for research and development in the pension (Drdo), Jaisalmer, which was detained for suspicion of spying for Pakistan, was arrested by the Rajasthanská police because of substantial evidence.
The defendant Mahendra Prasad was made on Wednesday (August 13, 2025) in court in Jaipur and was sent to a two -day police link.
The defendant, the inhabitants of Almory Uttarakhand, was sent as a bunny manager in the chandanese region of Jaisalmer and was detained after intelligence entrances against him 4 August. After a joint questioning in Jaipur, he was arrested on Tuesday (August 12, 2025).
Investigating officer Vinod Meena said that the accused shared information on missiles testing and the movement of scientists with a Pakistani handler through social media.
The defendant had access to details concerning the visit of Indian scientists and DrDO officers to the shooting series for various technical operations, including missile experiments.
“Information about which scientists came and what work they did was shared with Mahendra with a Pakistani handler,” he said.
The officer said Mahendra was monitored over time and sufficient evidence was collected. He was then detained, interrogated and arrested.
“During the interrogation, it turned out that Mahendra had been in contact with Pakistani intelligence through social media platforms for a long time. He gave information about missile experiments and activities for them,” Meena said.
