
Gautam Gambhir Death Threat of message: The individual who sent the mail was identified as the 21 -year -old Jigneshsinh Parmar from Gujarat, the police in Dilli said.
Parmar was caught by the police team of central districts and interrogated in detail. It is a student of engineering whose family claimed that they suffer from mental health problems. Further investigations are underway, the police in Delhi reported.
Gautam Gambhir, head coach of the Indian cricket team, reportedly received death threats via two e -mails 22 April, on the same day when the terrorists launched fire for tourists in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir. Both e -Maly had the words “I kill you”, the police in Delhi said.
The threats were adopted 22nd April – the same day terrorists shot 26 people, mostly tourists, in Kashmir Pahalgam – from the suspicious Gmail account.
“We were informed of the alleged threat that the post received on the e -mail ID associated with Gautam Gambhir. The thing is investigated,” M Harsha Vardhan said in his statement.
“Gautam Gambhir is already a Delhi police protector and we do not comment on specific security arrangements,” the officer said in a statement.
Gambhir, a former BJP deputy, allegedly received two e -maly with threats that have read “kill you” from the sender identifying as “ISIS Kashmir”, police resources said.
At the Rajinder Nagar Police Station, an e -mail complaint about threats along with images of threat screen was received.
“Dear Sir, Namascar. When we talked, please find the” threat mail “below the mail ID of Mr. Gautam Gambhir (former MP), head coach of the Indian cricket team.
This is not the first time that Gambhir has been endangered. In 2022 he received similar threats, which made the authorities tightening his security measures.
