A forty -year -old man suffered serious burns all over his body as he got stuck in the middle of a fire pit while walking through her during the Muharram celebrations in the Yaragunti village in LingsGur Taluk, Raichur district, Saturday evening.
He was identified as Hanumanth, a native of Yaraganti.
The video captured on a mobile phone became viral and the people who witnessed the incident were shocked.
Those who gathered around the fireplace pulled him out of the flames after hectic efforts.
He was immediately moved to the Raichur Institute of Medical Sciences (Rims), where he is treated. Sources said his condition is critical.
The incident was reported from the Lingsgur police limits.
