
The Police of Thotitilpalam on Friday, August 1, in Pashukkadav in Pashukkadava arrested Lish, local youth.
Lish reportedly set up an electric trap that caught wild animals in the cocoa plantation, where the bodies of Bobby and the cow were later found. The autopsy report confirmed that they both died as a result of electricity.
Sources said Lish was previously charged in several cases related to hunting wild animals. He was accused of Section 105 Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhit (BNS) for a favable murder that does not apply to murder.
Bobby, 40, was found dead on the cocoa plantation owned by Alakkal Jose. The residues of the electric trap were obtained near the bodies. Bobby went looking for a cow that did not return from grazing on Friday afternoon. Bobby’s body discovered a local search party around midnight.
