The police arrested a 26 -year -old for killing his mother and trying to attack a relative in Vorkada in Manjeswaam.
The defendant, Melvin Montrero, 26, was packed from Kolura in Karnataka on Thursday (June 26, 2025) in the afternoon after he reportedly fled the scene after the murder of his mother Hildy Montrero, 60.
Reportedly he also tried to kill the relative lolita, 30, after calling her to the house and claiming that his mother was missing. He is currently undergoing treatment in a hospital in Mangalur.
