Police of Pothotoncode arrested a 59 -year -old man for alleged murder of his son after Sunday’s argument.
The defendant, Unnikrishnan, was detained in connection with the murder of 35 -year -old Ullas, a truck driver who came from Ulloorkonam near Kazhakuttom, in his house during the first hours of the day.
Ullas, which was found lying in a pool of blood, suffered a deep blow to the chest. It is assumed that the incident occurred when the duo was under the influence of alcohol. Their families were not present when the incident occurred.
While Unnikrishnan initially denied any participation, he claimed that another person had entered the house and committed a crime. After a thorough investigation of the police, including the review of the CCTV from the residence, the father later confessed to the crime in the evening. It will be submitted to the court on Monday, the police said.
