The sixty -year -old charlatan was arrested for the operation of an illegal test center for determining sex in the village of Elaruvi near Tirupattur on Thursday.
The police said the arrested person was identified as G. Sugumar, a native of Tirupattura. Based on the warnings of Tirupattur SP V. Shyamal Devi, special police teams were created to charge suspects for sex determining tests in the district.
