
Fifty -year -old farmer was arrested on Wednesday by the Kalambur Police near Arani, Tiruvannamea for the alleged killing of his lover.
The police said the arrested person was identified as S. Ramasama, the Kallathur Hamlet tribe in the village of Jamunamarathur in the hills of Jawadhu. He was free and involved in agriculture in the village. The victim of K. Deepa 39, also belongs to the same village.
The initial investigation revealed that Ramasama became acquainted with Deep, who lived separately from her husband Kuppan. Deep was an agricultural worker and regularly worked in Paddy Farm Ramasama.
Deep remained in the house of her father Govindasamy in the village. She used to go to agricultural work in nearby villages in the hills. In recent months, Ramasama has avoided the design of deep and the duo had frequent quarrels over it. The police said Ramasama took Deep to Ettthiyavadi Reserve Forest (RF) near Arani in May, where he strangled it. He buried her body in the woods and returned to his village.
Because his daughter did not return home, Govindasamy filed a complaint against Tiruvannamei SP M. Sudhakar. Subsequently, special teams were created. During the investigation, the police found that Ramasama was close to Deep. They heard him where he told the police that he killed her. A case was registered. The body was sent to the Government Faculty of Medicine in Tiruvannamei. The probe is running.
