Police Kadugodi arrested a 24 -year -old youth for filming their neighbor and her daughter, while they bathed on Tuesday at their house in Channasandra.
On the basis of a complaint filed by the victim’s husband, the defendant – Khaja Moihiddin KC – was arrested.
According to the police, the accused noticed that a woman, 29 years old, bathed her nine -year -old daughter inside the bathroom of her house on Tuesday morning. The accused spilled from the back of the building and began filming the act on his mobile phone through the open window. The victim sensed an unusual movement outside and caused an alarm that the accused escaped.
The police, who acted on the complaint, arrived at the place and checked the CCTV camera shots in the place and around the place to identify the accused.
Before the police arrived at the accused’s house, he deleted the video.
However, the police arrested the accused according to the Act on the Protection of Children from Sexual Criminal offenses of 2012 and also according to Section 77 (crime of voyeurism) BNS, 2023, for further investigation.
