On Saturday, a 20 -year -old man was found in his apartment in Nayanguda. Bikas Shashmal was discovered by his roommate late on Saturday after returning from work.
According to a complaint filed by one of the roommates, Tarun Kumar, Bikas stayed at home on the day off while the others went to work. “When they returned around 23:30, they found that the doors were locked from the inside. After they hadn’t received any answer, they looked through the window and saw bikes not responding,” said Narayanguda police officer, adding that the team was warned and forced the door open.
Preliminary examination revealed injuries on the left forearm of the bicas. Investigators later found that Bikas recorded the state of WhatsApp in Odiya with citing love failure. The police registered the case and moved the body to an autopsy at the Gandhi hospital.
