A 28 -year -old man was found dead on a railway line near the village of Naganahali on the edge of Kalaburagag.
It is said that the man was depressed after his parents expressed his disagreement with his living relationship. It is said that he ended his life on the railway line after his parents refused his live relationship.
The deceased identified as Shivakumar was a native of Kumsi in Kalaburagagi Taluk.
The man called his girlfriend before he committed suicide. Although the woman arrived at the place, she couldn’t save him. She, too, suffered injuries after Shivakumar pushed her off when she tried to save him.
The woman was admitted to the Gulbarga Institute of Medical Sciences (GIMS) for treatment. Wadi’s railway police registered the case.
