Vehicle drivers should now think twice before they knowingly or unknowingly break the operating rules in driving vehicles, as the capital places in Yadgir have been supervised by a closed circuit (CCTV).
Up to 84 CCTV cameras, including traffic circles, bus terminal, near railway stations, deputy commissioner and highways that pass through the city, were installed in the main places to capture activities against the law, including violations of the traffic rules.
MLA Channareddy Patil Tunnur, who inaugurated the CCTV camera on Saturday, also set up a control room at the Old Town Municipal Police Station.
“Installation of 84 CCTV cameras was carried out at the price of 70.70 Lakh 70.70 ₹, which includes 53.30 ₹ Lakh from the MLA development fund and 17.40 ₹ from the Grant of the Minister of the District Citizen,” he said.
The city now sees extensive development. Business facilities, schools, universities and bankers have established their branches, while thousands of people visit the district headquarters every day for their routine work.
The requirement of CCTV cameras in public places was at the same level for a long time.
“CCTV cameras not only help capture the violators of traffic rules, but also help the police to control crime and arrest criminals involved in these incidents,” said police guardy Shankar, adding that the announcement would be issued against traffic violations based on visuals captured in CCTV cameras.
Each technology is now modified by the progress of artificial intelligence (AI). “These cameras are also made from advanced AI technology and will help bring technical discipline in the system and also among the public,” said Commissioner Harshal Bhoyar.
CMC chairwoman Lalita Anapur, who praised the initiative, applied for Mr. Tunnur to issue more grants within the MLA development fund to install CCTV cameras at entrance points and also inside the CMC areas to prevent illegal activities.
Another police superintendent Dharanesh, Deputy Police Director Javeed Inamdar, circular inspectors Sunil Kumar Mulimani Doddamani, Sridevi Biradar, Sub-Invpector Police Manjanagoud Patil, Bheemaraya Bankali, Maheboob Ali, Hanumanth Bankali and others.
