The main Minister N. Chandrababa Naida appreciated the success of the pilot project “Leads Andhra” implemented in the Kuppam election district. The project allowed 93 SHG women to generate 15 lakh in business in just 90 days through digital trade, said the project director, development office for the development of KUPPAM (KADA), Vikar Marmat.
On Sunday (August 3, 2025), who spoke about the media here, he said that the initiative led by border markets in cooperation with the KUDPAM (KADA) area (KADA) uses the AI “Meri Saheli app” to equip rural women with tools to become digitally allowed to Storefront owners.
Based on the success of the pilot project, the main Minister announced the action plan to extend the project throughout the state. While the first phase of the project focused on 30,000 women in the Chittoor district, this program is expected to cover this program over one lake woman across Andhra Pradesh, who covers 50 households, added Mr. Marmat.
The project replicated the proven success of the national model Frontier Markets “leads Bharat Udyam”, which has already seized more than 15,000 women in Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh.
Here it can be mentioned that during a recent visit to Mr. Naida in Kuppam, he organized an interactive meeting with recipients and received first-hand inputs from the bottom, as the model changed the landscape of the rural life conditions, especially women, by connecting with 200 partners on the market that linked to Tier-5 and levels-6.
The project was formed after the founder of Frontier Markets Ajait Shah and the main Minister Chandrababa Naida at the World Economic Forum in Davos. The initiative was later acknowledged by Prime Minister Narendra Modi as an effective step towards strengthening the position of rural women by establishing strategic technological trade modules, Mr. Marmat said.
